About

Bang Wallop is a fresh, innovative photographic concept store based in the heart of Salcombe’s traditional boat-building area and it’s emerging arts quarter. 2000 square feet of waterside industrial building have been transformed - the minimalist interior encompasses a gallery with shopping, coffee bar and studios dedicated solely to the art of photography.

The Gallery showcases the work of internationally acclaimed photographic artists as well as providing a backdrop for emerging photographers. Within the main gallery you’ll also find ‘the pod’ , our virtual gallery.

The Bang Wallop shop, offers a range of design led products, books, frames, cameras. The Shoot Yourself Booth is a fun interactive experience and The Coffee Shop, completes the experience.

At the heart of Bang Wallop are our photographic studios and post-production facilities; home to founder and principal photographer Lorna Yabsley. Lorna and her highly skilled, creative team of associate photographers and designers, offer an unrivalled service, to both the private and commercial client.

The Bang Wallop school offers a range of workshops for every level of skill, run by our in house team and guest tutors.

“Bang Wallop is one of those unique places where a creative energy pervades, there is literally something for everyone. Photography to engage and involve”
